\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Hello, everyone! My name is Shoichiro Kobayashi. I have worked at Toshin High School for 1.5 years. Today, I will talk about the way to improve your English composition. I hope the experience and knowledge which I accepted when I have studied for the entrance exams can help your study. The exam of Keio University which I wanted to pass and prepared for is famous for its very difficult problem of writing in English, so that I needed to study hard it. For that, I was conscious of 3 points. Though this is poor sentences, I am happy that you read it.<\/p>\r\n

1.<\/span> Making your format to use easily<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 First, making the format is necessary. It costs a lot of time to make sentences in English at first. This is because you would worry about what expression you should use if you do not have your format to make sentences in English. For example, it is convenient to use “I agree\/disagree the idea that…”, “However, there are someone who disagree the idea…” and “In short, I think that…” You can save a lot of time to use such a format, so that you should make your format as soon as possible.<\/p>\r\n

2.\u00a0 Having ways to express as many as possible<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Next, you have to put in your head a lot of ways to express. When making sentences, whether in English or Japanese,\u00a0 it is better that you avoid to use the same expression as many as possible. Therefore, you should have various ways to express. My recommended study method is to write an English composition on a certain topic by myself, then translate it once into Japanese with a translation tool, and then translate it into English again and compare it with my own composition. I am also using this study method to hone my English composition skills in preparation for studying in Canada next year.<\/p>\r\n

3.\u00a0 Being interested in various topics<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0What is necessary to make sentences in English is not only knowledge of English, but also broad field knowledge. Therefore, you should learn various things except English. For examaple, you should useally consider topics include politics, religion, the death penalty, and environmental issues.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
